FileWire is designed to be as simple and easy to use as possible, even for a novice with very little computer experience.
Click a button, get stuff.
Using a simple In-Box / Out-Box concept, it's easy to understand.
Even our mom got it.
Your average person doesn't want to navigate byzantine directory structures as with typical FTP software. They just want to click a big button and get it done.
When software has a "wizard"
it's bad design.
Filewire is a file transfer solution for organizations seeking collaboration and automation of business data. With a focus on ease-of-use, filewire will reduce tech support costs and increase customer satisfaction.
To make things as simple as possible for your users you can even customize install and operational features for different groups of users, even down to a particular person. Create an In-Box only install, or an Out-Box with a predefined list of endpoints. Making things simple for your end users makes it easier on you.
Our customization services lets you completely integrate your data. For example, replace the "Add File" button with an "Add patient" that displays a patient selection dialog, collects their data, and bundles it for transport.
You can completely outsource the file transfer management to us. Our back end services offers an additional web-based interface, notifications, and even the ability to charge micropayments or royalties for uploading or downloading files.
Out-Box Auto-populate will automatically populate the outbox with files that are to be sent to the serverr. Useful for handling process created files. When you start Filewire, they are loaded and ready to send. An Out-Box Scheduler can even automate the delivery of these files.
From a simple switch to provide an In-Box or Out-Box only solution,
to more advanced data integration with your backend service,
Filewire can be adapted for a seamless user experience.
For users that simply need to send files periodically.
A bare minimum interface for file delivery. Just click and Send. Why confuse them with anything more.
When set, this feature automatically populates the out-box with files from a selected folder. This might be useful, for example, if you have a process that creates files for them, say a Medical Claims generator, or Sales Report builder. When you start Filewire, they will be loaded and ready to be sent.
Set a schedule for files transfers. Now they don't even have to click!
For users that simply need to fetch files periodically.
If a user just needs to be sent files, just show them an in-box. A click of a button fetches any new files waiting for them. And another click opens them.
Quick View and Print buttons in your In-Box relieve users from searching their computer to find files received. Just point and click.
You can have an FTP client fully customized and branded to your business
Filewire can be adopted to integrate directly into business processes upon request.
For example, if specialized patient data needed to be extracted from a healthcare database and sent to the server or another user/process, customized buttons could be created to "Get Patient Record".
Filewire is great for sharing files globally across the Enterprise, but when combined with Data Integration services it really takes off. Replace the "Add File" button with a button linked directly to your database, pull out selected data and bundle it for transport. Modify the opening of a downloaded file to import into an application. A wide array of integration options are available for you.
Spectrum Health, based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is the region's largest health care system with a staff of more than 10,000. Part of Spectrum-Health's portfolio of services are monitoring and analysis services for sleep disordered breathing using specialized software from Respironics.
Transmission of data from the distributed medical devices was often conducted by courier transporting the devices or disk to the specialist, resulting in significant delays and cost. In-secure forms of transfer (E-mail, open Internet file transfers, etc.) were not an option, especially in the light of approaching HIPAA compliance regulations.
The Filewire client was adapted to read the sleep study data directly from the monitoring software, and a simple click was all the was required to send the report to a specialist. The doctor, using his FW client, imported the patient data and sent his resulting report back to the hospital.
Eglin required a software data distribution system to provide rapid transfer of digital and text information in direct support of USAF, Army, Navy and Marine Corp. electronic warfare systems.
Their Multi-Service Electronic Warfare Data Distribution System (MSEW) is a data distribution system that provides rapid transfers of digital and text information in direct support of USAF, Army, Navy and Marine Corps electronic warfare (EW) systems, and is powered by our backend services. It's primary purpose is the distribution of EW reprogramming changes in Mission Data, Operational Flight Programs, and maintenance text messages to operational users worldwide.
The system is the only system that supports Air Force (Air Combat Command), Army, Navy and Marine Corps units with distribution of emergency reprogramming data for EW systems. Reprogramming data is developed and uploaded from reprogramming centers at various secure locations within the continental United States for operational users to download from worldwide locations.
In addition, the Filewire client provides a simple and secure user interface for transmission of this data.
The MSEW system has proven extremely reliable, operating 24x7, 365 days per year. In fact, since its inception (April 93) uptime is more than 97%, which includes the brief 'downtime' for daily scheduled maintenance.
Under the Freedom of Information Act, Miami-Dade County needed a solution to provide access to documents and records on request by the general public. These records are public information such as marriage licenses, traffic tickets, property files, court records, and so on.
In addition, the Office of the Property Appraiser, which is responsible for identifying and appraising all real and tangible personal property within the County, uses our backend Library service to provide a web-based service to access this data upon demand.
The PA uses our microtransaction service (in the form of credits) to charge a fee to cover the cost of accessing this information.
